It is with great pride that we announce the winner of the third Max Marischen Technology Scholarship. Last night, William Maldia, a senior at Valparaiso High School, received a $2,000 award toward his continuing education. Max’s brother, Beck Marischen, presented the scholarship in person.
William plans to study Computer Science, as Max did. So far, he has been accepted at both Indiana University and Purdue University. We wish Mr. Maldia all the best in his educational pursuits and thank every one of you who helped make this award possible!
We are also extremely excited that we were able to double the size of this year’s award to $2,000. With your continued support, we hope to further increase these awards next year!
