Three $1,500 Scholarships Awarded in 2026

Due to the impressive pool of candidates, we elected to award three Max Marischen Technology Scholarships this year. Valparaiso High School students Rick Madrigal, Madeleine Ehrhardt, and McKenna Bogner each received a $1,500 award.

Rick Madrigal plans to study Computer Electrical Engineering right here in Indiana. Madeleine Ehrhardt tentatively plans to study Aerospace Engineering. And last but not least, McKenna Bogner plans to study Environmental & Natural Resource Engineering. All three students have been accepted by multiple universities, and we wish them luck.

As many of you know, Max was a Computer Engineering major himself. It brings us incredible joy to support students in his field and similar pursuits.

As always, we are thankful for every one of you who helped make these scholarships possible! Thanks to your contributions, we were able to increase the size of this year’s awards to $4,500. That brings the total awards distributed to $12,500 over four years.

With your generous support, we plan to maintain or increase these levels in the future.

Thank you all!
