It is with great pride that we announce that the Foundation has awarded its fourth and fifth Max Marischen Technology Scholarships. In spring of 2025, Cameron Walden and Jonathan Winland, seniors at Valparaiso High School, each received a $1,500 award toward their continuing education. Max’s father, Robert Marischen, presented the scholarships in person.
Mr. Winland tentatively plans to study Mechanical Engineering/Robotics, and Mr. Walden wishes to pursue a Computer Science degree. We wish both these promising young scholars all the best in their educational pursuits and thank every one of you who helped make this award possible!
We are also extremely excited that we were able to increase the total amount of this year’s awards to $3,000 from $2,000. With your continued support, we hope to further increase these awards in the future.
